1. Agreement and provider
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and 215 International Limited, RC 1751397, Lagos, Nigeria (“Networth Journal”, “we”, “us” or “our”). They apply to the Networth Journal website, application and related features (together, the “Service”).
By creating an account or otherwise affirmatively accepting these Terms, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Your use is also subject to our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must have legal capacity to enter this agreement. If local law requires parental or guardian consent, you may use the Service only with that valid consent. Information you provide must be accurate, and you are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and activity under your account. Notify us promptly through the Service if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. What the Service does
Networth Journal provides tools for recording financial activity, organising personal finance information, building money habits and viewing calculations, forecasts, patterns and educational content. Features may change as the Service develops.
4. Not financial, investment, tax or legal advice
Networth Journal is an organisational and educational tool. It is not a bank, financial adviser, investment adviser, accountant, insurer, lender or law firm. Content, projections, prompts and automated insights are general information—not personalised financial, investment, tax, accounting, insurance or legal advice.
Calculations and forecasts depend on the information you provide and assumptions that may not reflect future events. You remain responsible for checking entries and deciding what actions are suitable for you. Consider consulting a qualified professional before making significant financial decisions.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the Service unlawfully, fraudulently or to harm another person;
- access another user’s account or submit information you have no right to use;
- probe, disrupt, overload or bypass the Service’s security or access controls;
- introduce malware, scrape the Service at unreasonable scale or use unauthorised automated access;
- reverse engineer or copy protected elements except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
- misrepresent affiliation with us or use the Service to infringe another person’s rights.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of information and content you submit. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, reproduce and display that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the Service, comply with law, and provide features you request. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the content.
7. Our intellectual property
The Service—including its software, design, branding, text, graphics and other materials—is owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable and non-exclusive right to use the Service for your personal, lawful purposes.
8. Plans, coins and payments
Some features may be free and others may require payment or virtual coins. Before a charge, we will display the applicable price and material terms. Payments may be handled by a third-party payment provider and may also be subject to that provider’s terms.
Virtual coins are a limited in-Service feature, are not legal tender, have no cash value, cannot be used outside the Service and are not an investment. Except where required by law or expressly stated at purchase, coins are non-transferable. Statutory refund and consumer rights are not limited by these Terms.
9. Third-party services
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party products. We do not control those products, and their own terms and privacy practices apply. A link does not necessarily mean we endorse the third party.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service useful and available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, security events, connectivity failures and circumstances outside our control may cause interruptions. We may add, modify or discontinue features, giving notice where required by law.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion through the available support channel. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address security risks, unlawful conduct, material breach or harm to the Service or others. Where appropriate and legally required, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue.
12. Disclaimers and responsibility
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that forecasts, insights or user-entered information are accurate, complete or suitable for a particular purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from fraud, wilful misconduct or other responsibility that applicable law makes non-excludable. Subject to those rights, neither party will be responsible for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when these Terms were accepted.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without depriving you of mandatory protections available under the law of your place of residence. Please contact us first through the Service so we can try to resolve a concern informally. If it cannot be resolved, either party may use the courts or another dispute-resolution process available under applicable law.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service or law changes. We will post the revised version and update its effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice and seek renewed acceptance where required. Changes do not apply retroactively unless the law permits and we clearly state otherwise.
15. General
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer this agreement without our permission; we may transfer it as part of a legitimate reorganisation or sale, subject to applicable law. These Terms and referenced policies constitute the agreement between us concerning the Service.
16. Contact
Questions about these Terms may be sent to 215 International Limited through the support or contact channel available within Networth Journal. Our registered company location is Lagos, Nigeria.
